Summary:
Enjoy 1 day experimenting with leather or suede print making with silk screens. You will be mark making on your leather hides, which you will then leave with us to craft into one of our Southwark Mini Totes.
Other Details:
Whether you are a beginner or have experimented with screen printing before, you will enjoy the 1 day workshop by learning additional print making skills and create an original piece of art for the home. Jasmine will teach you ways of screen-printing and how to create a stunning base for your bag. Over the day you will transform some leather into your very own piece of hand printed leather.

Tutor Profile:
Jasmine has worked on her own business venture ‘J D’Cruz Bags’ since graduating in 2012 with a 1stClass BA (Hons) in Printed Textiles from Birmingham City University. After exhibiting her hand printed leather works in the form of handbags at New Designers in Islington she was talent spotted by Jimmy Choo and completed a 3month term at their HQ. J D’Cruz has recently won several awards including the Best New Business in 2016 in the Cherwell area of Oxfordshire and showcased at several prestigious events including The Royal Windsor Horse Show, London Fashion Week, Soho House, The National Trust and was awarded support by the Princes Trust in 2015.
Times and Refreshments:
This course will run from 11am-3pm, please arrive by 10:45am for a prompt start. Homemade cakes, tea and coffee available throughout the workshop. Any dietary requirement must be given to us a week before the course and will be met where possible.
Course date can be changed or modified for groups, however for single bookings the voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
